Several blues, with black, white, green and gold, combine in this 'ikat stripe' with dobby rectangles in rows across the 14" width.  It's lightweight (weighs less than an ounce), woven with raw, probably hand-dyed and handwoven silk. The texture and colors are gorgeous. It's thin, with a bit of  body and crispness. No drape and no shine. This silk is in excellent condition and the old label indicated it's a certified Tsumugi 100% Silk. We have various sized pieces of this old treasure from Japan. This is for the 14" x 26" size.
