Unusual diminutive antique balance scale surprises us with whispers of tole painting decoration. Gourds were added to act as little baskets displaying a mottled appearance. Hung in triplicate using old tiny chain that attaches to a larger single chain which terminates on each arm end of the scale.

Festive fabric handmade hearts (two per each gourd bowl) were used as accents lending color and interest to the overall look. Can be hung from a mantle, shelf, shaker peg or even in the window. One of a kind piece!

Measures 14 ¼” high @ the tallest point (left hand side), measures 8” tall (right hand side), beam measures 9 ½” across (horizontal position). Gourd bowl opening measures 2 ¼” to 2 ½” and measures 1 ½” tall. Enjoy!
